How to Track Minerals With Cartographer on World of Warcraft

Cartographer is an add-on to the ̶0;World of Warcraft̶1; massive multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) that provides several mapping features not included in the core game. One feature allows you to track minerals and herbs, which can found in various areas of the gaming world. You can gather the minerals and use them to craft items that your character can use or sell to other people in the game. To track minerals with Cartographer, you must set up an in-game macro command.

Cartographer add-on installed to "World of Warcraft"

Instructions

  Type ̶0;/macro̶1; in the chat box to launch the macro window.

  Select the ̶0;General Macros̶1; tab and click the ̶0;New̶1; button. A new window will appear.

  Select the icon you would like to use for your tracking macro, type a name for the command in the text box and click ̶0;Okay.̶1; The macro button will appear in your list of macros.

  Type ̶0;/castsequence Find Minerals̶1; in the text box next to your new macro button.

  Left-click on the macro button, hold down the mouse button and drag it to one of your skill bars.

  Click on the new macro button from your skill bar. You will turn on your mineral tracking and notify you of the location of mineral nodes within your area.
