How to Get to the Developer Memorial in the Barrens in World of Warcraft

Blizzard̵7;s ̶0;World of Warcraft̶1; includes a memorial to Michel Koiter, a Blizzard illustrator who died during the development of ̶0;World of Warcraft.̶1; The developer memorial is located near the Crossroads, a Horde town in the Northern Barrens zone in Kalimdor. Known as the Shrine of the Fallen Warrior, it consists of a spirit healer floating in front of an interred orc based on Michel Koiter̵7;s ̶0;World of Warcraft̶1; character. You can get to this memorial by climbing a hidden path up a hill located near the Crossroads.

Instructions

     Travel to the Crossroads, located in the center of the Northern Barrens zone. Give the Crossroads a wide berth if you̵7;re an Alliance player; the Horde guards will attack if you get too close.

     Follow the road west out of the Crossroads. Go around the Crossroads and rejoin the road if you̵7;re an Alliance player.

     Turn left onto the ridge to the south of the road. Continue along the ridge to climb the hill.

   • 4

     Follow the path on the hill to reach the Shrine of the Fallen Warrior, located on a mound on the hill.
