How to Get the Mop on Club Penguin

One incentive to purchase a "Club Penguin" membership is the ability of members to purchase clothing, furniture and interactive items from catalogs while in virtual shops. Non-members are limited to clothing items given as mission rewards. While holding a mop, penguins can tell their avatar to dance, which triggers a scripted event in which the penguin dances with the mop comically. The item also comes with a bucket.

  Click your map on the bottom bar of commands.

  Select a village region from the view of Penguin Island. All villages have shops.

  Click your cursor on a doorway to a shop to enter.

  Click on the icon that looks like a catalog. Select the one called "Gift Shop Penguin Style November 2010."

  Scroll through the list of items, click the "Bucket and Mop," which costs 250 coins, and press the "Buy!" button at the bottom of the pop-up window.
