How to Open the Surls Storage Room in MapleStory

"MapleStory" is a side-scrolling online action-adventure game for players to primarily accept and complete quests to earn "experience," a measurement system that determines a player's level and combat abilities. Non-playable characters (NPCs) are the principal distributors of quests, such as Surl in Edelstein who charges your character with the task of defeating a water thief and re-opening Surl's Storage Room. In return, Surl offers a "Mechanical Chair" and 700 experience points, which is significant for players whose level is below 25.

  Travel to Edelstein in the Black Wing Territory.

  Speak with Surl and accept the quest he offers, called "Catching the Water Thief Monster."

  Defeat the Water Thief Monsters on Concrete Road, small procyonid creatures that are weak against most types of magic except fire. With 375 hit points, they cannot take many hits before being defeated.

  Take the Water Thief's Bottles that drop after battling the Water Thief Monsters. Collect three bottles from three separate opponents.

  Go to the Resistance Headquarters and drop the Water Thief's Bottles individually next to the water tank, by the NPC named Claudine, to fill it up. The Storage Room opens once the tank is full.
