How Do You Speak on Moshi Monsters?

Pinboards

  Go to a friend's pet monster home and click the Pinboard on the wall near the door to access the Pinboard messaging system.

  Click "Add message!" to create a new note, then select a note color from the color palette and, if desired, an icon to decorate the background of the note.

  Type a message to have it appear on the note and start your conversation -- for example, "Hi, How are you today?" When finished, click "Post" to post the note to your friend's board.

  Wait for a reply on your pet monster's Pinboard, then reply by clicking "Reply" on the new message and writing and posting a new note.

Forum

  Click the "Forum!" option -- marked with a blue smiley face -- on the bar at the top of your Moshi Monsters account.

  Select a Forum category by clicking the title of the category -- for example, "Moshling Mania," "Help and Safety Area," "Moshi Questions and Answers" or "The Friend Ship."

  Start or join a discussion. To start a discussion, click "New Discussion" on the left side of the screen, select a discussion category from the drop-down menu, enter a thread topic, write your note in the "Enter your comments" box and click "Start Discussion" to open a thread. To talk in an existing thread, click a discussion title, write your note in the "Add your comments" box at the end of the thread and click the "Add Your Comment" note to add it to the thread.

  Wait for someone to comment about your comment or the topic of the thread, then add a new comment in response.
