How to Mute Moshi Monsters

"Moshi Monsters" is a free browser based game. Although it doesn't have music, the in game characters will talk with the player and produce a great deal of noise. While other games have a mute function for players who want to stop the game from making noise, "Moshi Monsters" does not. Instead, the player has to either mute his whole system or mute the plugin container within his browser. Not all operating systems give the player enough control to do the latter, but everyone can do the former.

     Click on the sound icon on your tool bar.

     Click "Mixer" if the option is available. This will give you refined control over which programs make noise. If there is no "Mixer" option, click on the "Mute" button to mute all sound on your computer.

     Push the "Mute" button immediately beneath "Plugin Container for" the browser your "Moshi Monsters" program is in if you do have the "Mixer" option.
