How Do I Leave the Scryers and Join the Aldor?

The Scryers and the Aldor are two factions found in Blizzard Entertainment's "World of Warcraft." Both were introduced in the game's first expansion, "The Burning Crusade." Each offers its own unique set of rewards to players willing to build up a high enough reputation level. The Scryers and the Aldor are both opposed to one another, meaning that players may only serve one of the two factions at a time. A player who has developed a high reputation with the Scryer faction must perform a number of repeatable quests in order to switch his allegiance to the Aldor.

Instructions

  Travel to the city of "Shattrath," located near the northwestern border of the "Terrokar Forest" zone in "Outland." Speak to the "Haggard War Veteran" located near the center of "Shattrath."

  Confirm that you have already completed the "A'dal" quest offered by the "Haggard War Veteran" NPC, which stands for "Non-Player Character." If the quest is available, accept it and speak to "A'dal," located in the center of "Shattrath." Complete the quest and speak to "Khadgar," located near "A'dal."

  Accept the "City of Light" quest. Follow the "Khadgar's Servant" NPC through the city, then speak to "Khadgar" again to complete the quest.

  Head to the northern section of the city and locate the NPC named "Sha'nir," located within the "Shattrath Infirmary." Right-click on the NPC and accept the quest entitled "Strained Supplies."

  Depart "Shattrath" and search the region located to the east of the city for creatures named "Dreadfang Lurkers." Defeat these creatures and loot the "Dreadfang Venom Sac" items that they carry. Note that not all "Dreadfang Lurkers" will carry the item and the drop rate is approximately 34 percent.

  Continue in this manner until you have acquired eight of the "Dreadfang Venom Sac" items. Return to "Shattrath" and speak to "Sha'nir" again. Turn in the items to complete the quest and you will be rewarded with 250 reputation points with the "Aldor" faction.

  Accept the "More Venom Sacs" quest from "Sha'nir." Gather more "Dreadfang Venom Sac" items and turn them in as before. Repeat this quest an additional 166 times to bring your reputation with the "Aldor" up to "Neutral."
