The Cheats

• The six cheats may be entered at any time during gameplay by pressing the "Enter" key, typing in the desired cheat and pressing "Enter" again.

  You will find the first cheat especially useful if you like to know what your enemy is up at all times. Enter the code "togglefog" to remove the fog of war, thus revealing the entire map. Now you no longer have to worry about leaving sentries around the map or sending out scouts to surveil your enemy, as you can easily gauge how well they are building up their defenses or if they are about to strike at your forces.

  If you are tired of being slowed down or blocked entirely by increases and decreases in terrain elevation, the cheat "flatterrain" will solve this problem by flattening the entire map. If your movement is being impeded by trees, there's a cheat to get rid of those as well: "removedecors." Even houses can be removed with the cheat "togglevis." While the maps may not look as exciting without any of these decorations, they will certainly be easier to move around in.

  The cheat "spawn (X,X)" where each "X" is replaced by a number one through 100, may come in handy if you find yourself low on troops, or even if you feel like you need more of a challenge. The first "X" determines how many troops are spawned for you, while the second "X" determines how many troops are spawned for your opponent.

  The final cheat, "setplayer," can only be used in multi-player battles and causes you to switch sides during the course of the battle. Like the previous cheat, this one can be used to make the game easier or harder on yourself. The most obvious use of the cheat would be to change sides when you find yourself on the cusp of defeat, but you could also use it to give yourself a greater challenge if you feel that you're about to win too easily.
