Tips and Tricks
To wear the black Spider-Man suit, collect 50 Spidey tokens and equip the suit from your upgrades menu.
To open up arena mode and practice your fighting skills, beat the game on any difficulty and select it from the options menu.
The PC version of Spider-Man 3 has several story modes included in the game. To play the Symbiote story mode, beat the game on any difficulty and select Symbiote from the story mode menu.
Avoid crime areas that already have been claimed by the police. Normally defeating a gang-infested area will clean up that block for good. If the police have already taken action and you interfere, the area will not change even if you scare off every last gang member.
Boss Cheats
Although you will face Venom several times, use this combo to exploit the game's AI the second time you face him.
Spidey Reflexes, then up, Spidey Reflexes, left, Jump, Grapple, Spidey Reflexes, Fast Attack, Spidey Reflexes, Power Attack and Swing. This combo exposes Venom's pattern and will allow you to easily defeat him.
If you are having trouble defeating Kingpin, hit Strong Attack twice and wait for the punch icon to appear. Once the icon appears above Kingpin, hold the Dodge button until Kingpin attacks and misses. Once he misses, hit Fast Attack instead of Strong Attack to initiate the Hurricane Counter move. Repeat this process until your rage meter is maxed out, then use your rage attack. Repeat these steps two to three times to defeat Kingpin.
