Uridium Cheats
Numerous cheats for uridium listed on various websites and forums involve sending a text message, via cellphone, to either 94444 or 84212. The message to be sent includes the word "BIG" and a space followed by a six-digit code which varies depending on the source it comes from. After the text is sent, you receive a reply asking for your user ID number and, once you have sent that message, another reply telling you the amount of uridium you have received.
A Cautionary Note
Unfortunately, it appears that these cheats are actually a scam intended to exploit new players or those who have lost most of their uridium for whatever reason. As it turns out, every player has a BIG code, which you can see when you make purchases from your account. So if you text "BIG 462834" to 94444, you're actually paying to purchase uridium for whichever player's BIG code is 462834, not yourself.
If you want the uridium for yourself, and don't mind paying for it, use your own BIG code when you send the message or purchase it online from the credits section of your Dark Orbit page. Should you decide to take this route, you're best off waiting for special events, as Dark Orbit will occasionally give you opportunities to purchase uridium at vastly discounted prices.
Other Means
If you don't want to pay hard cash for uridium, your remaining means of obtaining uridium include defeating enemy ships, taking on quests and bidding for it with credits, the in-game currency, in auctions.
