Basics
Play "Empire Earth" on a laptop or PC that has at least 756 megabytes of RAM, like many models from 2001 and newer. Set your video options to maximum performance if you are running a fast gaming machine. Make sure your video card is compatible with a 1024x768 screen display, and adjust your screen resolution accordingly. Click the control menu on the main screen of the game, and memorize the game controls for your keyboard. Left-clicking your mouse will enable you to select an item or character on your screen, and right-clicking enables you to drag and select multiple items or characters. Watch the screen during the beginning of gameplay and select "tutorial" to get further help with controls and strategy.
Walkthroughs
Start the game with The Early Helladic Peoples: 10,000-2,000BC, which is the first and easiest level of the game. Follow the object of the level by invading the first dock you venture to and conquer it. Left-click each enemy character rapidly so your army will attack. Sail a ship or two across to an uninhabited spot of land and build your camp on it. Playing each level will begin in a similar way, but the level of difficulty will progress.
Cheats &More
Press the "Enter" key during gameplay to activate the cheats menu, and type "my name is methos" to unlock all of the resources and reveal the darkened parts of the map. Typing "all your base are belong to us" will give you 100,000 of every obtainable item in your inventory and "brainstorm" will enable your characters to work faster to build your civilization.
