Alien Vs. Predator 2 Game Help

Alien vs. Predator 2 takes place on the planet LV1201, where you can choose to play an Alien, a Predator or a Marine. Each character has its specific strengths and weaknesses, but as a Marine you will need to rely on wits and weapons to outlast the tougher Aliens and Predators.
  1. Character Types

    • The Marine character uses heavy-duty weapons and technology to survive the game. One key piece of equipment is the Exosuit, which adds to the Marine's strength and armor. Another important piece of equipment is the Motion Tracker, which will alert you if an Alien or a Predator is nearby.

As an Alien, You will begin as a facehugger, the fastest but weakest class of character in the game. You will need to find a sleeping human or Predator to implant your next level of evolution. What you evolve into depends on what class of character your Chestburster spawns from.

The Predator, much like its movie counterpart, comes with many components that make it a tough character. Though physically not as durable as the Alien, the Predator does have a Cloak Generator that allows it to move about mostly invisible. Predators also have built in Medi-Comps that allow them to regenerate health.

    Awareness

    • There are some basic things you should do in order to survive Alien vs. Predator 2. The biggest key to survival is being aware of your surroundings. Continually look around while moving, including up and down. Your enemies can be anywhere. Also, make sure you are moving quietly through a level. Making lots of noise will attract enemies. Listen for gunfire and other sound effects as a guide to where fights are happening. If a level seems too difficult, take it slow and learn everything about it, such as where you can pick up power or a good place to sit tight and act as a sniper. When you pass by windows, make sure you duck down.

    Experiment and Knowledge

    • There are a wide variety of weapons and tools in Aliens vs. Predator 2. You will need to test all of them to find the most effective one for you. Different situations may require different weapons or tools. You also want to study your enemies so you know what to expect in a fight. If you can predict how an enemy is going to act, it takes the element of surprise out of a potentially fatal encounter. When fighting, make sure you constantly move your character to avoid getting trapped.
