Robot Arena Cheats

"Robot Arena," released on April 1, 2001, is a robot fighting game available exclusively for the PC. Players use the supplied weapons and accessories to customize their own individual robots before putting them in an arena battle against a rival machine. Those looking to gain the edge over their competition might want to try one of the few cheat codes that work with "Robot Arena."
  1. $50,000 Cheat

    • Press the "$" button while in the Bot Lab to set your bank account to $50,000. This changes your bank account to $50,000 no matter how much you currently have, even if you have more than that -- so be sure to use this cheat wisely.

    Fast and Easy Cash

    • Accumulate cash quickly in "Robot Arena" by adding a battering ram to your robot and initiating a Custom Challenge match versus Zombie. Bet as much money as possible on the match, and quickly ram your opponent as soon as the round starts. Zombie's armor cannot withstand the force of the battering ram for too long, and he will quickly fall apart. Repeat this trick as many times as necessary, increasing the wager amount each time.

    Extra Accessories

    • Unlock new equipment by changing your robot's name to "cheatbot." This gives you a decorative skull, an additional speaker, an electric switchblade and a bugged object that displays the message "No picture available."

    Ignore Weight Restriction

    • Machines in "Robot Arena" are normally limited to 750 pounds, but a cheat allows you to exceed this amount. Use a lightweight armor when first building your robot, adding your weapons and accessories as necessary. Once fully armed, you can change your robot's armor to something stronger and heavier without having to abide by the 750-pound weight restriction.
