Easy Shells
Purchase a guppy from the store and call it "Santa." This fish will hum Christmas tunes and drop bags full of shells into the tank. You can also use a trick to get extra shells. Create two users and use the second account to beat the first level. Return to the main menu and type "give" to pass those shells on to the first user. To get more shells than you will know what to do, with type "thousand shells" while playing in virtual tank mode. You will be awarded with 999,999 shells.
Sandbox Mode
Sandbox mode gives you the ability to create your own aquarium environments and species of fish. Go to the main menu and enter this code using arrow keys and keyboard letters: "Up," "Up," "Down," "Down," "Left," "Right," "Left," "Right," "B," "A."
Tank Effects
Use a variety of cheats for interesting effects in the game. Type these codes during game play while on the tank screen: Use "space" to create a starry background. Change the background to solid white with the code "void". Make the fish appear dead with the code "zombie". Display the time on the tank with the code "time".
Purchasable Pets and Abilities
You can add a number of fish and other animals to your game. Buy these characters in the store with shells in between levels. The pets and their cost area: Brinkley the Scuba-Diving Elephant for 20,000, Nostradamus the Nose-Fish for 25,000, Stanley the Startlingly Small Sea-Serpent for 30,000 and Walter the Penguin for 35,000. You can also buy the ability to have more total pets in one level. Increase the limit to four by buying this ability for 40,000. Spend 45,000 to increase the limit to seven in virtual tank mode.
