"Ratchet &Clank 2: Locked and Loaded," also known as "Ratchet &Clank: Going Commando," is an action platform game for the PlayStation 2 console. As with the rest of the games in the "Ratchet &Clank" franchise, the player controls the eponymous characters to traverse terrain, solve puzzles, and combat opponents. Ratchet, the player's primary avatar, can use a wide variety of upgradable weapons, as well as armor. The game's plot makes heavy use of advanced nanotechnology as a plot element, so sci-fi weaponry and gadgetry such as blasters and anti-gravity transportation are common.
