Dragon Quest 8 Cheats

Dragon Quest 8: Journey of the Cursed King is a console role-playing game that was developed by Level-5. It was released for the PlayStation 2 in 2004. The game can be quite difficult in some places due to a higher than average difficulty. An Action Replay disc can be used to allow the player to cheat. Players can use codes to make the game much simpler to complete.

General Codes
- The Action Replay will automatically detect the correct game when the game disc is inserted. Codes are entered by selecting ̶0;Enter New Cheat̶1; from the top of the code menu automatically brought up. The first code that should be entered is the master code. This is the code that is needed to allow any other Action Replay cheat to work. The master code for Dragon Quest 8 is 0MW5-MW66-FPHYG-GYK4-F7UG-E26BU.
  
  Another useful cheat code to use is the infinite gold code. This code will allow you to buy any items, armor, and weapons you want from shops. Normally, this is not possible due to the small quantities of gold the player will get in normal gameplay. The code to get infinite gold is 9HD2-2NF3-TV02M-9964-7K90-QMVNH.
HP Codes
- The HP for each character measures the amount of health he or she has. Losing all of his or her HP will cause that character to be knocked out and unable to act. Each character has his or her own unique code to give infinite HP. This cheat will render your characters nearly invincible. Only sudden death attacks can kill a character with this code. MP Codes
- The MP for each character in Dragon Quest 8 is used to cast spells. Spells typically are much more powerful than other skills or normal attacks. Action Replay codes can be used to give each character an infinite supply of MP. This particular cheat is more useful for Jessica and Angelo, as both characters get a great number of spells to use. This cheat is only useful for the Hero if you level up his Courage skill or for Yangus if you level his Humanity skill.
