Unlockable Stages
MK: Deception has stages that can be unlocked. To unlock Shang Tsung's Courtyard, find the treasure chest located at A-1 in the Neatherrealm. Finding the chest located in area H-5 of the Orderrealm will unlock Quan Chi's Fortress. The Nexus opens up by finding the treasure chest located at A-4 in the Choasrealm. The Kuatan Palace is unlocked by finding the treasure chest at point A-4 in the Orderrealm. Liu Kang's Tomb is found at the end of the bridge in the Earthrealm, in area H-6, after fighting Jax. The Golden Desert is unlocked by finding the treasure chest in area E-2 of the Nether Realm.
Unlock Characters
Certain actions unlock hidden characters. For Havik, this can be done by finding the chest on map H-4 in the Choasrealm under Konquest mode. Find the treasure chest in area H-1 in the Orderealm after 4AM to unlock Hotaru. Kenshi is made available by finding a treasure chest on area E-4 under Konquest mode in the Earthrealm. Kira is unlocked by finding the treasure chest in point H-2 in the Earthrealm, between 7-9 p.m.
Alternate Costumes
Certain actions unlock alternate costumes for characters. For Bo Rai Cho, open Koffin IB with 2086 Onyx coins. For Hotaru, do the same for Koffin QT but use 1064 Ruby coins. Opne Koffin SG by using 990 Sapphire coins to unlock Kira. Scorpion is unlocked by finding a treasure chest in the first city under Konquest. Kobra is unlocked by in the H-2 Earthrealm after 7pm. Sub-Zero is found in a treasure chest at point F-8 in the Earthrealm and Shujinko is found in area F-1 of Edenia, in a chest.
