Customizing PS2 games is an option you can use by inserting cheat codes. You can modify the PS2 game so that you have endless amounts of money, you are unbeatable or have powers not originally intended in the game. You can accomplish this with "Action Replay Max" that you can purchase online or at any video game retail store.

  Place the Action Replay Max CD into the PS2 CD/DVD drive. Turn on the PS2. Wait for the start-up menu to display on the game screen.

  Locate the game you wish to customize. Scroll through the list of games presented and highlight the game. Press the "A" button on the PS2 controller to select it. The game will then prompt you to check any preset codes.

  Enter the cheat code you wish to customize the game with from "Action Replay Max" manually in the window. Visit "www.codejunkies.com" for any codes you can't find on "Action Replay Max."

  Open the game from the "Action Replay Max" menu. You will then be instructed to insert the actual game CD. Remove the "Action Replay Max" CD and replace it with the game CD you have chosen. Play the game and verify the cheat codes are working.
