How to Beat the Part of God of War Where You Have to Push Over the Statue

"God of War" takes inspiration from Greek mythology and games such as "Castlevania" as you play as Kratos, who must make his way through a number of platforming levels and collect items to advance in the quest. Kratos battles classic enemies such as Medusa and the Minotaur in this 2005 Sony PlayStation 2 title. In the level "The Gates Of Athens," you must push over a statue in one location to reach the next area.

Instructions

- 1
  Press the "R2" button rapidly to knock over the statue when you reach it.

  Climb down to a lower area using a nearby ladder. Go to where you broke the statue and jump on the statue's head. This will allow you to reach a ladder to the next area, where you must kill Medusa.

  Climb a ladder to find another Medusa and Minotaur. Destroy pillars on your left to create platforms to reach the next level. Shoot your crossbow to stretch a rope to the next area. Climb across, stopping to kill the enemies that attack you on the way.

  Head down the ladder on the other side and then go left through the door. Shoot another crossbow to reach the next area where you will face two Minotaurs.
- 5
  Move forward to another ladder. Climb up to find a chest with health replenishing items. Go back down and head right through a hallway to conclude the level.
