Instructions
Plug a regular PS2 controller into one of the two controller slots on the PS2. You will use the controller to configure the settings for the player using the microphone, since the microphone itself cannot change or select any options between songs.
Plug a PS2 multitap peripheral into the other controller slot. Plug two guitars into two of the expansion slots on the multitap. The players on guitar and bass can use these peripherals to select their respective settings.
Plug the microphone itself into one of the USB ports on the front of the system.
Plug one end of the drum kit cord into the other USB port. Connect the other end to the back of the drum kit. Pull the two bars at the base of the kit out to expand the base. Unlock the black locks on each of the upright poles and lift them to expand them as well and then lock them again to secure them.
Insert the base of drum pad piece into the top of the vertical poles and lock them together. Put the kick pedal onto one or both of the bars at the base. The pedal has grooves so it can sit securely along the bar where you want it. Plug the cord extending from the kick pedal into the jack on the back of drum kit.
Open the PS2 and put the "Rock Band" game into the tray. Close the case and turn on the power to the system.
