How to Beat The Boss on Metal Gear Solid 3

Metal Gear Solid has been one of the most popular franchises on Sony consoles since the game was released to huge acclaim for the original Playstation. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater was the final major Metal Gear release for Playstation 2. In it, players take on the role of Naked Snake, a character later known as Big Boss. The game takes place years before the events of Metal Gear Solid. Players control Naked Snake on a mission in the Soviet jungle that concludes with an epic battle against The Boss.

Instructions

  Prepare for battle before you head in for the final boss fight. Equip your best camouflage to help you hide from The Boss. This will allow you to strike her with attacks from a distance instead of getting up close and personal. This type of strategy helps you avoid taking damage. The Snow camouflage is a good choice. Equip thermal goggles to gain an extra edge.

  Hide behind the large logs. This gives you the best cover to hide and shoot from. You can hide lying down in other locations, but this spot provides you with the best cover.

  Shoot at The Boss with your chosen weapon. Good choices are quieter weapons, as loud guns draw more attention to your position. The sniper rifle is an excellent choice. If she spots you, remain hidden while she is firing. She is invincible during this period. If she falls to the ground, try to move in and shoot her.

  Counter The Boss's CQC attacks when she rushes you by pressing the attack button to counter her attacks. Equip the knife when in close-quarters combat with the boss. Once you throw her to the ground, try to get in a quick attack with the PPK, MK22 or the knife.
