How Do I Unlock the Last Plane on Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War (2004)?

The last and most powerful plane in "Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War" is the Falken. This aircraft comes equipped with the Tactical Laser, a special weapon that causes instant destruction to almost any target. The Falken's speed and mobility are unrivaled by the other planes, which adds to its desirability. To unlock the Falken, you must collect its parts by destroying five hangars scattered throughout the missions. Once you've eliminated the hangars, you can purchase the Falken and add it to your fleet.

Instructions

  Begin mission 12a and fly northeast. Follow the river to the fork and continue east. Find the hangar on the south bank of the river.

  Play through mission 12b and bomb the radar. Avoid destroying the smokestacks on the east side. Check the area surrounding the smokestacks each time new targets open, and destroy the hangar when it appears.

  Fly from the airfield to the headquarters during mission 16a. Look for the hangar target halfway between the two areas.

  Head to the northwest during mission 16b. Find the hangar by the uppermost river branch.

  Check the area around the gun tower targets in mission 27. Find the hangar and destroy it, to unlock the Falken for purchase. The Falken's purchase price is 826,000.
