How Do You Get Through the Shrine of Kaddan in Star Ocean: Till the End of Time for a PS2?

The Shrine of Kaddan is one of the largest and most challenging areas in "Star Ocean: Till the End of Time." It consists of an expansive labyrinth of rooms and corridors filled with powerful enemies, and the area challenges players with several boss and miniboss battles. Players encounter dead ends and have all sorts of nooks and crannies to explore, which makes the Shrine of Kaddan even more time-consuming. If you don't care to explore the shrine, you can take a more direct path to get to the end of it.

Instructions

- 1
  Head north from the entrance to the Shrine of Kaddan to get to a new room. Examine the crystals to initiate a miniboss battle. Defeat the Crystal Statue to get a Saint's Stone. Head north again to initiate a cut-scene. Exit the room to the east.

  Fight a second Crystal Statue by examining the crystals on the ground to get another Saint's Stone. Exit this room through the door to the south. Follow the linear path eastward to get to a door and then go through it. Stand in a corner to avoid the falling rocks and then use your Disintegration Hammer on the cracked wall to the west.

  Open the chests in this room to get another Saint's Stone. Examine the furnace to fuse the stones into a Saint's Amulet, which you will need later. Backtrack to the large room and take the east exit this time to get to a new area. Follow the linear path to find a save point and save your game.

  Go through the door to the north to see a cut-scene and fight a boss, Crystal Cerberus. Backtrack to the save point once you defeat Crystal Cerberus and save your game. Go back to the Crystal Cerberus room and then travel north to a new room. Take the western exit and then go north through two rooms.

  Open the large chest in the middle of this room to trigger another earthquake. Exit this room to the south and then head east until you can travel north again. Move through the rooms following the northern path until you get to a Crystal Statue. Fight it and proceed to the north.

  Examine the statue and choose whether to accept its challenge. If you do, you must fight one-on-one battles to get to the destination, but you get an item that helps against the shrine's final boss. If you decide not to accept, head east and follow the path. Both options take you to the same place.

  Enter the northern door and then travel to the southeast to find another door to the south. Follow the linear path to get to a door to the east, go through it and follow the path to the fork. Take the northern path and follow it until you find a door to the east. Enter and examine the gem. When prompted to make a decision, choose to touch it and then exit the room and head south.

  Head west at the armored enemy until you find a chest and then head as far south as you can to find a door to the west. If you completed the statue's challenge to get the Anti-Stone Amulet, equip it and proceed through the corridors with the sliding blocks to get the the northwest. Go through the door and get to the southwest corner again. Go through this door to meet a squad of Vendeeni Soldiers, a miniboss battle. Fight the soldiers and examine the pedestal in this room

  Backtrack all the way to the Shrine's Entrance to initiate a cut-scene and complete the area.
