"MotoGP" Series
There are six titles in the "MotoGP" series available for the PS2. The games use models and specifications from real-world bikes and also feature racetracks based on actual locations. The bikes and tracks have different attributes that are tailored to specific play styles. Game play modes include a single-player challenge mode and split-screen competitive multiplayer modes. A simulation mode that increases the difficulty by mimicking real-world physics is also available.
Off-Road Motorbike Games
"MX vs. ATV" is a series of racing games that pits off-road motorbikes against all-terrain vehicles on outdoor tracks. Two games in this series are available for the PS2: "MX vs. ATV: Unleashed" and "MX. vs. ATV: Untamed." Both games have split-screen as well as online multiplayer modes in which you can race against other players. "MX Superfly" and "MX 2002" are two other titles featuring off-road motorbikes.
Speed Bike Racing Games
"Tourist Trophy: The Real Riding Simulator" and "Suzuki TT Superbikes" are two speed motorbike racing simulators available for the PS2. Both games feature several race tracks and realistic bike physics, and the bikes are modeled after real-world speed bikes. Split-screen multiplayer modes are present in both titles. "Speed Kings" is speed bike racing game that has two modes: arcade and simulation. Arcade mode emphasizes cartoonish, high-speed racing, while simulation mode attempts to portray realistic racing, with real-world physics.
"American Chopper: The Game"
"American Chopper: The Game" is based on the "American Chopper" television series and combines racing sequences with a story-driven, single-player experience. Players complete challenges such as outrunning the police, obtaining extra bike parts and competing against challengers in street races. Several motorcycles are available to ride, and bikes can be modified with obtained components.
