How to Make Calls on the Phone in GTA Vice City

Tommy Vercetti is a busy man on the islands of "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City." There are dozens of missions to complete in Vice City, including five that have to be initiated through a pay phone. These pay phones are scattered throughout the city. Pay phones will appear on the map and the mini-map under a symbol of a phone.

Instructions

    • 1

      Pause the game to view the map. Look for the phone symbols.

      Restart the game and travel to a pay phone location.

    • 3

      Walk into the glowing ring in front of the phone and remain still. Tommy will use the phone, and a cut-scene will appear briefing Tommy of the mission. A prompt of mission details will appear after the phone call ends in case the cut-scene doesn't play.

    • 4

      Pause the game and view the map. A new indicator will show up on the map to represent the mission objective.
