How to Fly Leviathan in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

"Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas," released for the PlayStation 2 platform in late 2004, has several improvements over previous installments of the series, notably the addition of jetpacks and several helicopters. The Leviathan is one of the larger helicopters, but it has no weapons and can be tricky to control due to its size. You'll unlock this helicopter to use whenever you'd like after completing a certain mission, and the controls for it outside of that mission are the same as any other San Andreas helicopter.

Instructions

  Press the "Triangle" button to enter the Leviathan. Press "X" to ascend. Use the "Square" button to descend.

  Press the "L2" button to tilt the rudder to the left. Press the "R2" button to tilt the rudder to the right. Hold the "L3" button to hover in place.

  Use the left analog stick to pitch and roll the Leviathan. Use the right analog stick to control the camera.

  Push the right analog stick forward in the mission "Up, Up and Away" to lower the magnetic winch you can use to pick up vehicles. Push the right analog stick backward to raise the magnetic winch. Push the "Circle" button to pick up and drop vehicles. You can use this winch only during this mission, and it will not be active if you fly the Leviathan later.
