Why wont your ps3 read any discs when i turn it on to play go game section and know the games in right blue lights but come up should get a cleaner disc triedgames?

It sounds like you're experiencing a common PS3 disc drive problem. Here's a breakdown of the issue and potential solutions:

The Problem:

* Dirty Lens: The most likely culprit is a dirty laser lens inside the PS3's disc drive. Dust, fingerprints, or even smoke residue can prevent the laser from reading the disc properly.

* Worn Out Lens: Over time, the laser lens can wear out, making it difficult to read discs.

* Disc Drive Malfunction: In some cases, the disc drive itself might have a mechanical problem, preventing it from spinning the disc correctly.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Clean the Disc:

* Wipe the disc: Use a microfiber cloth and cleaning solution specifically designed for discs. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

* Inspect the disc: Make sure there are no scratches or debris on the disc surface.

2. Clean the Lens:

* Don't open the PS3: Opening the PS3 can void your warranty and damage the system.

* Use a lens cleaning disc: These are available online or at electronics stores. Follow the instructions carefully.

* Try a compressed air can: Aim a burst of compressed air into the disc slot to dislodge dust particles.

3. Check for Other Issues:

* Make sure the disc is inserted correctly: The disc should sit flat and securely in the drive.

* Try different games: If the issue persists with multiple discs, it's likely not the games themselves.

4. Consider Professional Help:

* If cleaning doesn't work: The disc drive might be faulty.

* Contact Sony support: They may be able to offer further assistance or recommend a repair service.

Additional Tips:

* Avoid exposing the PS3 to dust and smoke.

* Handle discs carefully: Avoid touching the surface of the disc.

* Use a disc case: Protect your games from scratches and dust.

Important Note: If you're not comfortable with cleaning the disc drive yourself, it's best to seek professional help to avoid damaging your PS3.
