How to Become a Doberman on Metal Gear Online

"Metal Gear Online" is an action game for the PlayStation 3 gaming console. It runs on the same disc as "Metal Gear Solid 4" and allows players to join groups to battle other groups in online maps. Completing certain tasks will earn you online ranking titles, which are coded with animal names. The Doberman rank is one of the rarer ranks. Earning it will win you the respect of your fellow gamers.

Instructions

  Achieve a "1.4 K/D" ratio or lower. The K/D ratio refers to the number of opponents you have killed (K) divided by the number of times that you have died (D). The ratio is calculated from your play in the "Team Death Match" and "Death Match" modes of play.

  Maintain a 60 percent or higher win ratio. You must participate in at least 80 games each in the "Rescue," "Capture" and "Team Sneaking" modes, and win at least 60 percent of the games.

  Participate in the "Base" mode and maintain a 1.0 conquer rate. This means that you cannot lose any Base operations. You must complete each one that you attempt. If you are competing and it looks like you may lose, press the "Start" button and select "Exit Match" before you do. This will maintain your winning streak in the Base operations.

  Maintain these stats to keep your Doberman rank active by playing at least once a week. There is no time limit for accumulating the stats needed to earn the rank as long as you log on to play at least once every seven days.
