How To Earn Gil in Final Fantasy XIII

In "Final Fantasy XIII," defeated enemies drop items and selling those items in the shops nets gil. Use gil to purchase accessories, items and components to level up weapons. Treasure spheres also contain items to sell or use. Each item sells for a specific price based on the item's availability. An item that is harder to obtain is usually worth more. One of the easiest places in the game to earn gil, called Gil Farming, is at Taejin's Tower on Gran Pulse.

Instructions

  Play the game, following the required storyline. Continue to play the game until you reach Taejin's Tower at Gran Pulse.

  Play the required storyline of the game, working your way up the tiers of the tower. You will be required to take on and complete Missions 21, 22 and 23 in order to continue. Play until you reach the Fifth Tier of the tower.

  Examine the statue and you will automatically activate Mission 24, just as you had to do for the earlier missions. The target appears in the same room you are in.

  Attack and defeat the target enemies, the Yakshini and Mushussu. Defeat the Yakshini first. When the Mushussu is alone, use Rav/Rav/Sab to attack the enemy and to place debilitating statuses on him. Switch to Com/Com/Sab once staggered to finish him off quickly. You will receive six Moonblossom Seeds for winning.

  Play the required storyline of the game. Complete Taejin's Tower by defeating the boss, Dahaka, at the Cloven Spire.

  Walk to the statue located opposite the exit after defeating Dahaka. Examine the statue and an elevator will appear. Ride the elevator to the Seventh Tier. Examine the statue in the room. It will line up all the tiers in the tower, making them all available from the central elevator.

  Return to the Apex and ride the central elevator back to the Fifth Tier. Examine the statue to activate Mission 24 again. Defeat the enemy and earn six more Moonblossom Seeds. Repeat as many times as you wish.

  Go to a save point and choose "Shop" from the menu. Choose any of the shops and choose "Sell." Sell every Moonblossom Seed for 1,000 gil each.
