How to Beat the Shiva Sisters in Final Fantasy 13

"Final Fantasy XIII" is a role-playing video game. Over the course of the game story, players fight hundreds of enemies, many of which require special strategies to defeat. One such enemy is the Shiva Sisters, who are far too powerful for Snow, the player character, to defeat with normal attacks. The player must determine the Shiva Sisters' weakness and exploit it to survive. Beating the Shiva Sisters results in a permanent stat boost for Snow.

Instructions

- 1
  Select "Item" and then "Libra." Snow will use the Libra to ascertain the Shiva Sisters' weakness, which is defense.

  Choose "Paradigm Shift" and then "Sentinel." This causes Snow to change his stance to the defensive, where he can use maneuvers like "Steel Guard."

  Select "Steel Guard" every turn. This causes Snow to defend. After several turns of this, Snow's Gestalt Drive becomes active.
- 4
  Press the "Square" button on the controller to trigger Snow's Gestalt Drive. This ends the battle.
