How to Get All the Items in Metal Gear Solid 4

Complete the game once on any difficulty to unlock the following items: command vests in various colors, the suit costume and the race gun.

Select "continue" when prompted 51 times or more to unlock the "Corpse Camo."

Earn an "assassin" emblem to obtain the Altair costume. To earn an assassin's emblem, kill or stun more than 50 enemies with a knife, make more than 50 CQC holds and get spotted less than 25 times.

Enter the Militia Safe house in Act One. Listen to a conversation between two Militia soldiers about Raging Raven and enter the first room on the right. Find the Middle East Militia Disguise in the middle locker.

Rescue the rebel force from the PMC soldiers at the beginning of Act Two. The rebels unlock a building for you to pick up the South American Rebel Disguise.

Earn a "Big Boss" emblem by completing the game on the "Big Boss Extreme" difficulty setting with the following requirements: beat the game in less than five hours, do not get spotted, kill no one, use no healing items, do not use stealth camouflage or the bandanna. You also may not use a continue for this achievement. The "Big Boss" emblem unlocks the Patriot gun and the Zombie Big Boss face camouflage.

Drive the Mk. 2 during the mission briefings in the game, and hit some of the characters to get face camouflage: Roy Campbell for the Campbell camouflage, Otacon for the Otacon camouflage, Sunny for the "Raiden A" camouflage, and Naomi for the "Raiden B" camouflage.

Collect more than 60 weapons to obtain the Drebin camouflage.

Defeat each of the four "Beauty" bosses non-lethally to obtain their respective camouflages and dolls. Obtain the Frog doll by non-lethally disabling all of the Frogs in the Advent Palace and picking it up in the nearby garage area. Once you collect all of the dolls, you unlock the Solar Gun.

Earn a "Fox" emblem by completing the game on the "Solid Normal" difficulty setting or higher in less than 6 hours with the following conditions: kill no one, use no continues, avoid five alert phases, use no healing items, and do not use the bandanna or stealth camouflage. The Fox emblem unlocks the long barrel Desert Eagle.

Complete the game on any difficulty, and you can buy "Emotion Bullets" from Drebin during the next game.

Shoot the Sorrow Doll during the Screaming Mantis fight to obtain it.

Earn a "Fox Hound" emblem by completing the game on the "Big Boss Hard" difficulty setting or higher in less than five and a half hours with the following conditions: kill no one, avoid three alert phases, use no continues, use no healing items, and do not use the bandanna or stealth camouflage. The Fox Hound emblem unlocks the Thor .45-70.

Earn a "Hound" emblem by completing the game on the "Naked Normal" difficulty setting or higher in less than six and a half hours with the following conditions: kill no one, avoid 3 alert phases, use no continues, use no healing items, and do not use the bandanna or stealth camouflage. The Hound emblem unlocks the "Type 17 Pistol."

Beat the game without killing anyone to unlock the bandanna. If you complete the game without that prerequisite, you can buy the bandanna from Drebin on a second playthrough.

Play "Metal Gear Online" for ten hours or more and you can buy the "Scanning Plug" from Drebin.

Complete the game once without any alert phases to unlock the Stealth Camouflage. If you complete the game without that prerequisite, you can buy the Stealth Camouflage from Drebin on a second playthrough.

Drive the Mk. II behind Sunny's desk during a mission briefing to find the Camera.
