How to Get Old King's Trophy in Demon's Souls

To get the Old King's trophy in the PlayStation 3 game "Demon's Souls," you must defeat the optional mini-boss named Old King Doran. Old King Doran is found in a mausoleum in the "Boletarian 1-1" level. To open the mausoleum you must obtain the mausoleum key by killing Ostrava. Ostrava is also found in the "Boletarian 1-1" level.

Instructions

- 1
  Travel through the "Boletaria 1-1" level until you find Ostrava trapped on a balcony, surrounded by enemies. Kill all of the enemies to rescue Ostrava. Ostrava will leap down from the balcony once safe.

  Kill Ostrava before he leaves the area. Pick up the mausoleum key.

  Go back to the branching path on the top of the outer wall of the palace. Head to the Red Eye Knight. Kill the Red Eye Knight.

  Open the mausoleum door behind the Red Eye Knight. Approach Old King Doran. Attack Old King Doran with a ranged attack to lure him out.

  Run back and hide behind the second catapult. Old King Doran will start to chase you but eventually give up and head back into the mausoleum. Take the opportunity once his back is turned to hit him with more ranged attacks.

  Hide behind the second catapult again until he gives up the chase. Repeat the process of shooting him when his back is turned and then hiding behind the catapult until he falls. When Old King Doran is dead you unlock the Old King's trophy.
