How to Have More Than Two Players on a Local Game of Nazi Zombies for World at War on the PS3

One of the best parts about modern video-game consoles is the ability to play with many other gamers from all over the world. The downside, however, is that many games make it harder to set up local multiplayer games, often limiting your options to two players. For "Call of Duty: World at War," you can bring only two players into the game's addictive "Nazi Zombies" mode. There are ways, however, to get around this problem.

Things You'll Need

  • Two or more PS3 consoles
  • One television for every PS3
  • One copy of "Call of Duty: World at War" for every PS3
  • Four-port LAN adapter

Instructions

    • 1

Set up the PlayStation 3s and televisions adjacent to one another. Every television needs to be set up with a PlayStation 3 connected to it and a copy of the game in the console.

    • 2

Connect the PS3s together with the four-port LAN adapter. An LAN cable will connect all of the PS3s onto one network. Use the Ethernet ports on the back of the PS3s to make this connection. A four-port has four access points, meaning that you can network up to four consoles. If you require more, you will need a cable with additional ports.

    • 3

Disconnect the PS3s from the Internet and select an LAN game mode on all consoles. When you enter into "Zombie" mode with the consoles networked together, you can use the game's LAN settings to place all the PS3s into one local game. You are still stuck with two players per television, but you can add an extra two for each connected PS3. If you don't disconnect from the Internet before attempting this, you will be taken to the PlayStation Network lobby and will be unable to play an LAN game.
