How to Change Ownership on PS3 Game Saves

The PlayStation 3 (PS3) offers users the ability to backup the save files of a specific game. If you wish to transfer your save file to a new PS3 or a new profile on your PS3, backup the file on an USB memory device and restore it to the new device or profile. Though you can back up the save file from any game, you cannot save your Trophy collection unless you create a PlayStation Network account and transfer it to your new device.
