How to Level Up in Call of Duty 4 on the PlayStation 3

The 2007 game "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" added several new features to the world of online team-based shooting games. By leveling up after earning enough experience points, you can unlock new weapons and perks to give you a broad level of customization features. These bonuses also give you the ability to strengthen your character, making future level-ups even easier. You earn experience points in this game by completing a variety of tasks.

Instructions

  Kill members of the opposing team. This is the most consistent way to earn experience points because you should have a few kills per match.

  Complete challenges to earn experience points. Check out challenges in the Challenges section of the online menu. Challenges range from earning 10 kills with a knife to calling in at least five helicopters.

  Succeed in team-based objectives. For example, you earn experience points in the Search and Destroy mode by planting the bomb.

  Use your killstreak rewards. After you get several kills in a row, you get to call in complementary artillery, such as a spy plane or an airstrike. You earn experience points just for using these rewards, and you can earn several more kills (and points) by using airstrikes and helicopters.
