Making Friends
Play an online match of "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare." Team matches are the best way to play and get a feel for teammates personality and gaming ability.
Talk to other players using your PlayStation 3 headset, avoiding excessive and/or offensive trash talk.
Avoid team killing during team matches.
Ask player(s) that you enjoyed playing with for a friend request.
Accepting or Sending Friend Requests
Access the XrossMediaBar(XMB), the PlayStation 3's navigation tool.
Select the "Friends" section.
Select the "Friends" icon if you have received a "Friend Request."
Select the avatar of the potential "Friend" who sent you the request.
Choose "Reply to Request to Add a Friend" option, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Send a 'Friend Request" by choosing the "Add a Friend" option on the "Friends" menu.
Select the "To" option, and enter the gamer ID of any players you've met playing "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare." Type a message if you'd like to add a comment to your "Friend Request."
Select the "Players Met" option on the "Friends" menu to find gamer IDs of players you've recently played "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" with online.
Select the avatar icon of a player to sent them a "Friend Request" and/or message.
