How to Play Darts in GTA IV

Playing darts is a fun way to entertain dates and bond with friends in "Grand Theft Auto IV" for PlayStation 3. Scoring is simple. The number placed above each wedge represents the point value of that section or slice. Point values double if you hit the outer rim and triple if you hit the inner circle. The center bull's-eye is worth 50 points, and the outer bull's-eye is worth 25 points. The first player to score exactly 301 points wins, but the final throw must be a double.

Instructions

- 1
  Go to the darts game location. You can only play darts at the bar on Morris Street on Dukes Island. The bar is represented by a bull's-eye on the map. To get there you can take a cab, walk or drive yourself. The bar is located in an alley, so it can be a little difficult to find; but keep walking around, and you'll stumble on the door in time.

  Approach the darts board. It's located inside the bar on the right. Once you're close enough, a message will appear asking you if you wish to play.

  Start a game by pressing the "L2" button. If you're on a date or hanging out with a friend, you'll play against your companion. If you came solo, a random barfly will play with you. Niko always goes first.

  Use the left analog stick to aim. The crosshairs represent your target.

  Press the "R2" button to steady your shot. This focuses and pinpoints your aim.

  Press "X" to throw your dart. After each throw, a message will appear alerting you of your score and the points you have remaining. Each player gets three throws a turn.

  Watch your opponent throw or skip his or her turn by pressing the "X" button.

  Alternate turns with your opponent until someone wins. When the game is over, a message will appear asking you if you wish to start a new game or quit.

  Press "X" to play again or "L2" to quit.
