How do you move objects up and down on PS4 Fallout 4?

You can't directly move objects up and down in Fallout 4 on PS4 using the standard controls. The game doesn't have a built-in "vertical movement" option for objects when you're in build mode.

However, there are a few workarounds you can try:

1. Use the "Rotate" function:

* While in build mode, select the object you want to move.

* Press the L1 button to access the rotate function.

* While holding L1, use the right stick to rotate the object. This can sometimes be used to move it slightly up or down depending on its orientation and placement.

2. Use the "Snap" function:

* This is a more limited approach, but you can use the "snap" function to align objects to specific points in the environment.

* While holding R1, you'll see a grid appear. Move the object to the grid point you want, and it will snap into place.

* If you're lucky, the snap points may be vertically aligned, allowing you to move the object up or down.

3. Use the "Offset" function (Requires a mod):

* Note: This method requires installing a mod.

* You can find mods for Fallout 4 on the Bethesda.net website or other modding platforms.

* Search for mods that allow for object offsetting or vertical movement. These mods usually add new commands or options to build mode.

4. Get creative with other objects:

* You could try building a platform or support structure that elevates your object to the desired height.

* This might not be ideal for every situation, but it can be a workaround if you need to move something a significant distance up or down.

Remember that the PS4 version of Fallout 4 has limited modding capabilities compared to PC. Some mods may not work or may be difficult to install.
