How to Renovate a Pokke Bug Spot

The Pokke Farm, which is an area in the "Monster Hunter" game series for the PlayStation Portable, is made up of different sections, including an Insect Thicket, where you can harvest bugs to use as components for building and upgrading equipment. When you first access the farm, you will only get low-level items with a slim chance of getting better items. You can increase your chances of getting top-tier insects by purchasing renovations for your Insect Thicket.

Instructions

    • 1

Collect Pokke Points. You can obtain Pokke Points by completing Training School quests, gathering quests and treasure hunting quests, all of which are assigned at the guild hall. Additionally, many quests reward you with Pokke Points when you collect Account Items before completing each quest. These are scattered throughout each quest area, so explore thoroughly.

Speak with the Pokke Farm caretaker. He is usually standing near the entrance to the Pokke Farm and is dressed in yellow. If you've never spoken to him before, he will give you a crash course on how the farm works and how it will benefit you.

    • 3

Talk to the Pokke Farm caretaker after getting the tutorial. From this point on, he will always give you options for dealing with your farm. Select the "Renovate" option. This shows a list of the various areas throughout the farm and the available upgrades.

    • 4

Scroll through the options until you find the "Insect Thicket" item. There will be four listed, from "Insect Thicket +1" to "Insect Thicket +4," and only the first one will be available at first. You must purchase all upgrades in sequential order.

    • 5

Highlight the upgrade you wish to purchase and press "X." You will be asked to confirm your choice, so press "X" again to complete the transaction. The renovation will happen automatically.
