How to Obtain a Lightsaber in SWB Elite Squadron

Single Player Campaign

  Begin a new single player campaign.

  Play through the story missions using any character on the maps.

  Once you have control of the character "X2," select him before any battle begins. Reselect him if you die during a level and need to respawn.

  Press the "Triangle" button to switch your weapon to the lightsaber. Only X2 has access to this weapon in the campaign.

Multiplayer

  Select "Multiplayer" from the main menu. You will have the choice of playing two different time periods (the clone wars or the civil war) and two different sides for each.

  Create or join a map on one of the following planets if you plan on playing for the republic during the clone wars: Bespin, Cato Naimoidia, Coruscant, Dantooine, Endor, Hoth, Kashyyk, Mustafar, Tatooine, Vjun or Yavin IV. Go to Step 6.

  Create or join a map on one of the following planets if you plan on playing for the CIS during the clone wars: Coruscant, Dantooine, Endor, Kashyyk, Mustafar, Tatooine, or Vjun. Go to Step 6.

  Create or join a map on one of the following planets if you plan on playing for the rebellion during the civil war: Cato Naimoidia, Dantooine, the Death Star, Hoth or Vjun. Go to Step 6.

  Create or join a map on one of the following planets if you plan on playing for the empire during the civil war: Cato Naimoidia, Dantooine, the Death Star, Endor, Hoth or Vjun.

  Play through the battle as one of the regular characters. When you die, you will be given the option to choose who to respawn as. Randomly, the game will give you the option to respawn as your side's "hero character" for that planet. Choose the hero character and select "lightsaber loadout."
