Missions on GTA: Vice City Stories

"Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories" is a spin-off of "Grand Theft Auto III: Vice City," released exclusively on the PlayStation Portable handheld console. While the scale of the game has been reduced to suit the portable platform, it still maintains the typical mission structure of the series. You assume the role of Victor Vance and must take a series of missions for a number of story characters, whose motives and trajectories intertwine and progress the storyline to an explosive conclusion.
  1. Sergeant Martinez Missions

    • In the first mission given to you by Sergeant Martinez, titled "Soldier," you are asked to deliver a package to one of his contacts. You need to head down to the docks -- where you are instructed to take a short boat ride -- and jump into the water and swim back to shore when you are being shot at. From there you must head to the barracks, where you can save the game, and then head to the marked location to deliver the package. Another mission, titled "Cleaning House," requires you to go down to the docks and pick up money from a contact, Phil Cassidy, who also happens to be a gun runner. Completing this mission gives you access to "Phil's Shooting Range." The final mission for Sergeant Martinez is titled "Conduct Unbecoming."

    Phil Cassidy Missions

    • In the "Cholo Victory" mission, Cassidy recruits you to go with him to take Cholo, a enemy of his. After chasing down the gang, go to the "Paint N Spray" to re-spray your vehicle and thus throw off the cops. Phil will give you a $200 reward. In "Boomshine Blowout," you are conscripted by Phil to travel to the Big Package Storage Company warehouse and protect his "Boomshine" liquor, which the Cholos are attempting to blow up. When you get to the warehouse, you must load the liquor onto a truck using a forklift, before the liquor overheats. Phil Cassidy also assigns you the "Truck Stop" and "Marked Men" missions.

    Marty J. Williams Missions

    • In "Shakedown," Marty J. Williams asks you to travel to a nearby shop to sort out some hooligans who are harassing a business associate. You must defeat all your foes using hand-to-hand combat, and then you head with Marty to a Cholo gang store to break up some stuff to set them straight. In "Fear the Repo," you have to track down a series of vehicles to transfer back to Marty's lockup. Be sure to give the cops the slip, as they will be hot on your heels during the course of this mission. Other missions given by Marty include, "Waking up the neighbors," "O brothel, where art thou?" and "Got protection?"

    Louise-Cassidy Williams Missions

    • In "When Funday Comes," you go out on a date with Louise to the local trailer park. No wine and red roses, though, as you must complete a quad bike race to end the date successfully and win the $500 reward. Be sure not to kill the other racers with the equipped machine gun. In "Takin Out the White Trash," Louise asks you to assist her in retrieving some of her stuff from Marty's place in the trailer park. Arriving at the location, however, a number of the locals are not especially pleased by your presence. You must assist Louise and her baseball bat in disposing of the rabble. Other missions assigned by Louise include "D.I.V.O.R.C.E." and "To Victor, the Spoils."
