How to Beat the Spider-Man 1 Game on PS2

The video game "Spider-Man: The Movie" is a PlayStation 2 game whose release coincided with the "Spider-Man" film in 2002. The storyline follows the events of the film as Peter Parker/Spider-Man has to save Mary Jane Watson from the Green Goblin. The game also has other villains from the "Spider-Man" world that don't appear in the film, but you only win if you beat the Goblin on the bridge in the finale.

Instructions

- 1
  Press "R2" to swing over to Mary Jane's location to pick her up and save her.

  Swing over to the spider icon to begin the battle with the Green Goblin, who is flying on his glider.

  Swing into the air near the Goblin and attack. Press "Square" to punch and "Circle" to kick. Press "R2 + Circle" to perform swing kicks. Press "X" to jump on his glider. Continue performing these actions until the Goblin lands on the ground.

  Press "L2 + Triangle" to throw impact webbing on the grounded Goblin. Press "Circle, X, X" repeatedly to attack him with a tackle combo and "Left + Triangle" to use the "Web Fists" power against him.

  Swing to the top of the bridge and grab a health icon if necessary. Continue using these attacks until the Green Goblin is defeated. When the Goblin is impaled on his glider, you will see the final cut scene saying "Congratulations, you have beat "Spider-Man: The Movie."
