How to Install PS2 Memory Cards

The PlayStation 2 features expandable storage options so you can get the most out of your gaming. Memory cards allow you to save valuable gameplay information, so you can return to a game at a later date without having to start over. PS2 memory cards are easy to load into the console.

      Locate the memory card slots on the front panel of the PS2, above the controller ports. Each slot is labeled "Memory Card."

      Position the memory card face up. An arrow at the top of the card indicates the direction you should insert the card.

      Insert the memory card into one of the memory card slots.

    • 4

      Push the memory card into the slot until it is firmly in place.

    • 5

      Grasp the card firmly and pull it outward to remove it from the console.
