How to Get Through the Treasure Ship on Okami

Enter the ship and walk straight up the staircase. Use a Prayer Slip on the three ghosts at the top of the stairs. Open the three treasure chests in the center of this large room and ignore the other two -- they contain enemies.

Go to the left corner of the room and run down the hallway. Jump over the spikes on the floor. Continue into the next room and fight Jiro and Saburo, two giant crab monsters. Attack them relentlessly until their shells break off. Use two Power Slash attacks on each one to kill them.

Walk around the bones and run up the stairs. Use Prayer Slip on the cursed door. Look up at the opening in the ceiling and use Sunrise. Swim back into the room where you fought the two crabs. They will merge and turn into Ichiro, a giant shark. Use Power Slash on him six times to defeat him.

Backtrack through the ship to the room with the treasure chests. Jump on a floating barrel and into the new area, where you will find a Golden Gate. Enter and use the cannon to break through the doors across the room. Jump on the barrel of the cannon to lower it and align it with the doors. Use the Cherry Bomb power on the back of the cannon to light it.

Swim down the hallway by the cannon. Use Prayer Slip on the four ghosts and continue down the linear path. Make a note of the bridge in this hallway as you will need to get back to it later.

Jump and strafe through the hallway to avoid the giant hand that will start attacking you. Use Power Slash on the barrel held up by a rope to make it drop. Jump onto it and guide the barrel into the hooks, which will make a scale drop.

Jump back down to the barrel and go back to the bridge you passed earlier. Jump up on it and strafe from side to side as you cross to avoid the two seaweed hands. Turn left after you get off the bridge and head up the ramp to get back in the room where you used Sunrise. Use Crescent and the ship will drain again.

Jump on the barrel in this room to go back to the area where the hands were attacking you. Backtrack through this area until you get back to the cannon. Go down to the lower door you broke earlier and collect the key. Go back to the cannon and turn left to find a locked door. Use the key on the door and head up the stairs.

Use Prayer Slip on the cursed door and you will find yourself in a treasure room. Open all of the chests, some of which have enemies hidden inside them, and collect the items. When you leave the treasure room, you will automatically exit the ship and a cut scene will occur.
