How to Get We Three Kings on Guitar Hero III for the PS2

"Guitar Hero 3" is the third instalment of the popular video-game franchise that enables users to simulate playing a guitar. The game can be played on the PlayStation 2 as a disc, but the console does not have the Internet capabilities of its successor, the PlayStation 3. Unfortunately, the song "We Three Kings" is only available as an Internet download, meaning it cannot be played on PlayStation 2. However, you can unlock and purchase other extra songs for your PlayStation 2.

Instructions

  Purchase a "Guitar Hero 3" bonus pack from a video games store. Bonus packs are discs that include additional songs and characters for your game. Make sure the bonus pack is playable on PlayStation 2 before you buy it. Bonus packs generally cost less than the original game.

  Insert the disc from the bonus pack into your PlayStation 2. The game will load automatically and you will be able to play the extra songs in the normal way.

  Unlock additional songs within "Guitar Hero 3" by progressing through the game. You will start the game with a limited number of songs to choose from, but these songs are the easiest to play. Successfully complete the easy level to unlock a more difficult set of songs. As you advance in the game, the songs you unlock get harder and harder.

  Purchase a console with Internet capabilities from a video games store if you would like to play "We Three Kings" on Guitar Hero 3. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are the most popular consoles with Internet access. Although a new console will be very expensive, the ability to download content means you have a wider range of games and bonus material to play. You also need to buy a compatible Guitar Hero controller for a new console, as a PlayStation 2 controller will not work.
