How to Make Dual Shock Work With USB to a PS2

The Sony PlayStation 3 video game controllers all use a USB-based connection when not used with the Bluetooth wireless signal. This is different than the older PlayStation 2 video game controller port, which is a serial based connection. If you have a PS3 dual shock controller (these controllers vibrate during game play) it is possible to directly hook up the USB-based controller to the PS2 system.
