How to Convert PS2 ISO From PAL to NTSC

Different televisions in different parts of the world use different ways to encode and produce video. Two of the most used formats are the PAL and NTSC formats; unfortunately, if you have a PAL disc and a NTSC TV you will not be able to see what is on the video. However, if you have the .iso file already on your computer, you can easily change the video format with a simple patch.

Instructions

    • 1

Download and install the PS2 PAL To NTSC Patcher with Y-FIX V1.06 BETA program. (See the link in the Resources section.)

    • 2

      Open the Patcher program.

    • 3

      Click "Browse."

    • 4

Find your iso file and select it. Click "OK."

    • 5

Choose 48 as the "Y-Fix Offset."

    • 6

      Uncheck "Make PN Selector."

    • 7

Click "Patch File." Allow the process to complete. Once it is done, you will be able to burn the image onto a new disc and view your game on a NTSC TV.
