Purchase software that allows you to transfer PlayStation 2 game saves from your USB device to your PS2 memory card. Gameshark, Codebreaker and MaxDrive are a few companies that offer this type of software.
Open the Web browser on your computer and navigate to a website that offers PS2 game saves for download. Game FAQs, Codebreaker, Gameshark and MaxDrive all offer game saves for download from their websites. Download the game saves you wish to put on your PS2 memory card. Make sure to download the game saves that match your specific game save transfer software.
Insert your USB drive into one of the USB ports on your computer. Drag the game saves you downloaded in Step 2 onto your USB drive. Eject your USB drive from your computer.
Plug your USB drive into the USB port on your PS2 system. Insert your game save transfer software disc into the disc drive of your PS2. Turn on your PS2 system.
Open your USB drive and select the game save file you want to transfer to your PS2 memory card from the USB drive. Select the "Copy" option and press the "X" button. Select the memory card you want to transfer the save file to and press the "X" button. Allow several seconds for the transfer process to finish.
Eject your USB drive from your PS2 system. Insert the game you wish to play into your PS2 system and load your game save from your memory card.
