How to Play PS2 Games on the Computer

The Sony Playstation 2 (PS2), as a sixth-generation console, has the ability to display game images in a number of resolutions. In the event that your television does not display these resolutions as well as your computer monitor, or you own a computer but no television, there is still a way to connect your PS2 to a computer in order to play games on it. As long as you have a PS2 VGA adapter, the process is uncomplicated.

PS2 VGA adapter
Audio source with available RCA ports

Instructions

  Connect the PS2 end of the PS2 VGA adapter to the available port on the back of your PS2. Connect a controller to the controller port on your PS2.

  Connect the VGA end of the adapter to the VGA port on your computer monitor.

  Connect the RCA (red and white) ends of your adapter to an audio source, such as a stereo or computer speakers.

  Turn on your PS2, audio source, and computer monitor and make sure everything is working properly. You should now be able to play your PS2 games on your computer monitor.
