How to Use the Microphone on Guitar Hero For the PS2

"Guitar Hero: World Tour" for the Playstation 2 comes with a set of drums, a guitar and a microphone. The microphone has to be plugged into the Playstation 2 USB port in order for it to be useful. Once the microphone is connected correctly, you can start to sing your way to a party.

Instructions

  Plug in your microphone. On the Playstation 2, connect the microphone's USB cord into the front of your console. The port will be below the controller output.

  Start your Playstation 2. When you boot up your console, a light will show when the microphone is plugged in correctly.

  Use your microphone. Navigate through the main menu with your Playstation 2 controller. Use the microphone when you are ready to sing a song. Hold the microphone at least four inches from your mouth while you are singing. Hit all of the notes with your voice. When the words on the screen are higher, your voice has to be higher; when the words on the screen are lower, you voice has to be lower.
